The main components of UV three proof paint

Mainly used to protect PCB boards and related equipment from environmental impact, extend their service life, and ensure their safe and stable operation. PCB boards without conformal coating are prone to corrosion, mold, moisture, electrical leakage, and pollutants.

1. UV resin

UV resin, also known as UV oligomers, also known as oligomers or oligomers, is a basic structure that can form a three-dimensional adhesive film under the action of ultraviolet light, and endows the film with various properties such as hardness, flexibility, adhesion, gloss, weather resistance, aging resistance, etc.

2. UV monomer

UV monomers also become active diluents, and their main function is to dissolve other solid components and regulate the viscosity of the system. Active diluent is not a volatile diluent used in general chemical products. It can directly participate in the curing and film-forming process, has reaction ability, and does not produce volatile solvents. Active diluents are generally monomers with small molecular weight but containing polymerizable functional groups within their molecules, which become a component of the adhesive film after curing.

3. Photoinitiator

Photoinitiators are a key component, and their function is to transfer the energy of ultraviolet radiation, quickly trigger the crosslinking polymerization reaction between UV monomers and UV resin, and promote the process of the system from liquid to solid. According to the initiation mechanism, photoinitiators can be divided into two types: free radicals and cations.

4. Additives

Additives are some auxiliary components present in the formula to meet specific usage requirements and improve the performance of the adhesive film. Such as flow inhibitors, leveling agents, toughening agents, defoamers, lubricants, extinction agents, dispersants, stabilizers, and so on.
